tasting consultation
I believe the cake tasting is very important because the meeting gives me an opportunity to get to know you more and make sure that the cake meets your expectations.
The cake tasting will be an hour-long consultation to discuss all details about your wedding cake, sketch the cake designs and taste the quality of my confections.
- Cake tasting fee is $100 for two people. Any additional guest will be $50 each.
wedding cake prices
Wedding cakes are priced individually depending on the number of servings, cake flavors, design, complexity, and handmade elements. starting price for tiered cakes will be $10 per serving, this price will go up depending on the handmade designs, sugar cake toppers, sugar flowers, stencils designs, and edible lace.
6”= 14 servings
8” = 24 servings
10” = 38 servings
12” = 53 servings
14"= 74 servings

Wedding cupcake prices start at $48 per dozen and may go up
depending on the custom design and toppers.
Sheet cake prices:

quarter sheet cake will serve 30 people and price is $300.
half sheet cake will serve 50 people and price will be $500.

Delivery and set up at the venue starts at $150 and will go up depending on the venue location, the size of the cake, and if additional desserts needed to be set up.

policy ​
- 50% non-refundable deposit is required to officially book your date. All dates are considered open until payment received. Any remaining balance will be due in one month before the event date. Any changes to this order must be made at least one month prior to the event date. If the order is canceled, the deposit is non-refundable.
- If fresh flowers will be used on the cake it is the responsibility of the florist to determine flower safety and safe food practices and not the cake decorator.
- We provide cake stands for a $200 refundable deposit and $50 rental fee. All rental items should be returned within 4 days after the wedding date. A late fee of $20 per day will be charged for each day the items are late. If any items that are rented are not returned or are returned damaged in any way, the deposit will not be refunded.
- In the case of an unavoidable situation, such as a car accident or poor road conditions during delivery, the cake decorator cannot be held liable for more than the cost of the above-ordered cake.
- 6% sales tax and 3.5% Leesburg food and beverage tax will be added to the total cake amount. Delivery will be an extra charge depending on the distance.
-Dana’s Cake Shoppe does not offer cash or credit refunds for any cake or dessert order. All sales are final.
- We do not recommend cake pickups for cakes with more than two tiers. If you choose to pick up your cake and transport it yourself, please be aware that we will not be liable or responsible for the cake once it has left our location (any damage that may occur during or after the pickup in any way). We can deliver your tiered cake to any DMV address.
For a wedding cake with more than two tiers, there are no wedding cake pickups, deliveries are required.
- It's the client responsibility to ensure that the cake will be set up in an area that is climate controlled to ensure that the wedding cake remains intact and retains its original condition. Extremely high temperature and humidity may affect the condition of the cake.
- Matching colors: we make every possible effort to match your wedding colors, however, when working with food colors, perfect color matches are sometimes difficult to achieve. Dark colored icing has a tendency to darken further over time, with humidity or heat.
- IMPORTANT: Some products may include nuts and/or other allergens. No guarantee can be made to people with allergies, if you do have an allergy, please let me know beforehand so I can make sure that your order hasn’t touched any nuts/ allergens. We offer gluten-free and nut free products but we are not a gluten/nut free bakery.
